Flying is the best way of arriving to Moscow. There are direct flights from many European cities, the US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, China, India and other countries served by major international airlines as well as Aeroflot and Transaero. International flights arrive at Sheremetyevo-2 (24 miles or 39 km north of the city) and recently renovated Domodedovo (30 miles or 48 km southeast of the city).
Please, inform the Local Organizing Committee about your flight numbers, arrival/departure dates and time, and we will arrange your picking up and transfer from/to airport.

Usually, in the beginning of September in Moscow days are pleasant with temperatures in the neighbourhood of 13oC (57oF). Casual coats and umbrella might be useful sometimes.

The taxis are rather expensive in Moscow but metro, buses, and tram are relatively cheap. Using a metro is the most convenient, because it helps to avoid problems with a traffic.

Everywhere in Russia 220 Volt and 50 Hz AC current supplies are used. Most of the sockets are standard European-size for double round-pin plugs, the same as in France or Germany. Appliances from the US, Canada, Britain and some other countries will need adaptors (it's better to buy them in your own country or in a duty-free shop).

Registration via Internet is closed. On-site registration will be possible on September 1-5.
